Crude Apache News - August 2004 The Street Generally hailed by all as a success, feedback from audience was very good, and very positive from ex-residents of Argyle St. Pity about the dodgy weather, but we ended up with a profit of around £1,700 so a financial success as well. Nick Warburton has videos of the Saturday night at the Whiffler show for £6 - you can contact him on 01603 441098, and Peter Barden is finishing off the edited DVD using footage taken at Barford. They have organised a meeting / workshop on tuesday 24th August at the old bed shop on Botolph St.
(between Anglia Square and St. Augustines) for all those interested. It's a very interesting event, and exactly the kind of thing that we want to be supporting - bringing theatre and local history together and taking it to the streets. Participants are to be plied with beer and sandwiches, free entry to other events that are taking place throughout September and a gret old party at the end. Call Jo on 07963 997729 for more details, and you can find out more about the festival at www.swain-forkbeard.com Party Party plans have been thrown into confusion by the Hog in Armour not now available on our prefered date of 1st October. We will try to stick to this date and find another venue. Watch this space.
