The Street
Word on the grapevine is that rehearsals for this years Theatre in the Parks extravaganza are going extremely well (some may say too well in fact) and it looks like we can expect great things from Mr Scorsedye. Jo has shown extraordinary resilience despite a resurfacing of that bum boil from hell which some of you may remember making the headlines a few months back!

The Website
For those of you who have boring jobs in IT or data entry but do have external access to the internet, will be pleased to hear that the CA website is now back up and running thanks to the developing talents of Mr Jonathan Creek. Learning as he goes, Jon anticipates the need for a new and improved CA website. Although the website looks very organised and tidy from our perspective, apparently behind the scenes it’s a complete nightmare – hence the need for a revamp. So keep checking out the site to witness its renaissance! A big vote of thanks was extended to Jon for his efforts so far.
6 by 3
First and foremost, the committee would like to extend a full and frank apology to the cast and crew of 6 by 3 for the clash between this month’s committee meeting and the opening night of the show. The committee would like to make it clear that the dates for 6 by 3 had yet to be confirmed at the time that the date for the committee meeting was agreed. By the time the committee learned that there was a clash between the show and the meeting, it was at that point unfortunately too late to cancel the meeting. Please be assured that every effort will be made in the future to ensure such a clash does not happen again.
Despite this, the show was a total success and was hailed as a work of genius by the
Times cultural critic and made a profit of £10 zillion pounds.
N.B. 6 by 3 was only in its second night at the time of publication!!

The Anniversary Party
It looks like the big 10th Anniversary Party is a goer – wahey! Ongoing negotiations between our intrepid comms man, Steven Rayner, and Norwich Arts Centre are progressing well and the event is likely to go ahead late Sept. The committee envisage an evening of music, cabaret and of course the exciting prospect of the awards ceremony, ‘The Patches’. Categories for the awards are being drawn up and in next month’s newsletter you will be able to offer up nominations – its all so exciting!
If any members of Crude Apache, old skool or nu, who want to get involved we would love to hear from you. Also if you’d like to perform in the event with either original material or CA classics you can! Just remember to keep your pieces short so we can accommodate as many people as possible (about 10-15 mins). If you would like to register your interest, please come to the next committee meeting, or contact Nicki Dixon on 01603 446601, 07906 211230 or at nickidixon@ntlworld.com.
Keep watching this space for further developments…
